Center

Center for Food Security & Agriculture (CFSA)

Impact Summary

The Center for Food Security & Agriculture is FSCWEO’s flagship technical center and its largest operational pillar. Established in July 2020, CFSA responds to acute food insecurity, drought, displacement, and livelihood losses affecting vulnerable Afghan households, particularly women-headed families, internally displaced people, returnees, and poor host communities.

Through timely food assistance, cash-based support, emergency employment, agricultural inputs, and climate-smart livelihoods, the center protects lives, restores dignity, strengthens local markets, and helps vulnerable households build greater resilience and self-reliance.
